Stand out and succeed in a professional UX role

Hiring managers are looking for more than just design deliverables and UX skills.

They want to see if you can use those skills to drive a business and product forward. We made this course to fill in the biggest gaps between the classroom and the work professional designers do everyday.

See examples and common scenarios, and how business goals can impact your design decisions. Learn the terms, processes, and skills needed to find the balance.

Learn the vocabulary, drivers, and business models of the products you design for.
Learn to conduct and break down stakeholder interviews, and how to pinpoint key business goals and needs.
Get insight from users, and learn how to balance that with needs from our stakeholder interview
Practice working with other designers to explore and refine solutions that meet user needs and business goals.
Get experience with popular analytics tools to see how we can use user data to identify issues and create better solutions.
How do we know if we’re reaching our business goals? We’ll learn key metrics and frameworks that designers and business teams use to gauge success.
Learn to present your design decisions to a mixed audience. Learn how to get buy-in on your ideas from business managers, product teams, and other designers.

Small classes, live learning, real projects, zero filler.

This course is jam-packed with practical skills, personalized feedback, hands-on experience, and lots of fun.

Who should take this course?

This course was made for designers who want the practical, in-demand skills needed to reach their career goals.
You’re a beginner in UX, and want to build your skills and portfolio
With beginner-level UX knowledge, you’ll have the advantage of seeing how your growing skillset is applied “in the real world” from early on.
You’re looking for your first job in UX design
You’ll learn skills that are going to make a difference in how you interview, present your work, and stand out from other applicants. If you’re early in your UX journey, graduating a longer bootcamp, or pursuing a career switch to UX, this class will be perfect for you.
